Oswald Sallaberger



Oswald Sallaberger was born in 1966 in Innsbruck (Austria). He studied viola playing and
composition at the "Mozarteum" in Salzburg. At the age of only 20, he extensively toured
the USA. Presently, he acts as a guest conductor for the "Orchestre National de France",
"Ensemble Intercontemporain", the Radio Symphony Orchestras of Baden-Baden-Freiburg,
Stuttgart and Saarbrücken and "Ensemble Modern". In 1997, Oswald Sallaberger made his
debut at the state opera "Unter den Linden" in Berlin with a performance of Alban Berg's
Lulu. Since 1998, he is an artistic director in Rouen.
